Mark is the CEO of the Kriska Transportation Group, a growing company of over 1000 employees and over 900 power units. Mark grew the business significantly after becoming president in 1995 when Kriska had a modest 100 power units. Mark has rounded his transportation career by holding positions of increasing responsibility at all levels of the business. Mark has been a dedicated advocate for the Canadian trucking industry throughout his career. He served as the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) Chairman from 2006-2008 and the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) from 2014-2016. He is a founding board member of the Trucks for Change Network, which connects trucking firms with registered charitable organizations requiring transportation services. Mark serves as an active Director of Trucking HR Canada and an Officer of the TCA (Truckload Carrier Association). Mark was awarded the esteemed OTA Service to Industry Award in 2015 as a testament to his dedication and impact on the industry.
David Tumber is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Kriska Transportation Group (KTG). He joined KTG in 2015 as the Director of Commercial Development and is now responsible for managing the group's trucking and logistics businesses. He guides KTG's growth through mergers and acquisitions being actively involved with setting valuations, internal due diligence and post-acquisition implementation. Before joining Kriska, David led the Canadian sales team as the Commercial General Manager at Schneider National. He is an active member of the Canadian Transportation industry as a Director of the Toronto Transportation Club (TTC) and a Board member of the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA). David is a respected speaker at North American transportation events. He holds an Honours BA in Economics from McMaster University, an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a CPA designation.
As Chief Financial Officer, Craig leads the financial strategy and oversight for KTG and its operating entities. He has extensive experience in senior finance roles within the agriculture and food sectors, coupled with a strong background in transportation. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Accounting from the University of Ottawa.
Heather brings over 20 years of transportation experience to the KTG team. Heather has held positions in Operations Management, Safety and Training, as well as Human Resources, during her 20 years with Schneider National's Canadian Division. Heather holds an Honours BA from the University of Western Ontario and a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Humber College.
Reena joined KTG in 2019 as a Financial Analyst and quickly grew to the role of Manager, Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis. While filling in various roles across each of the KTG operating companies, Reena developed an in-depth knowledge of the financial systems and company reporting requirements. Prior to KTG, Reena obtained her CPA and CA designations and worked in public practice accounting.
Eugenia has built a career in Transportation Safety and Compliance. Before joining KTG in 2019, she managed Transportation Compliance at Walmart Canada. Previously, she oversaw Safety and Compliance at Calyx Transportation Group's six operating companies. Eugenia also brings a strong operational background from her decade as the owner of M&M Transportation. Her mandate at KTG is to bring standardization and consistency to safety and compliance throughout our group of companies.
